We teamed up with Gastown’s iconic Inform Interiors to create a new window installation entitled, Bodies of Glass: Form, Transparency and Reflection, that explores the distinct ways in which glass can be used, displayed and experienced.

The 1970s were a time of experimentation and pushing the boundaries of established notions of aesthetics and design. We found inspiration in this explorative time and its colour palette, mixing hot red with burgundy, brown and taupe for a window of reflections and glass finishes that vibrates with colour and energy from all the way down the block.

To give the glass objects and furnishings life we incorporated lighting from Montreal’s Lambert and Fils—one of our favourite designers in this space—and we also collaborated with local artist and photographer Gabriel Cabrera to create two unique artwork pieces for the display (these were made using photographs of furnishings and objects within the installation).
