PlaidFox Studio Named
WL Interior Designer
of the Year
August 31, 2022—It is with great appreciation we are thrilled to announce that PlaidFox Studio has been named Western Living Interior Designer of the Year for 2022.
Western Living is a longstanding institution that has been championing the work of Western Canadian designers, architects and makers for decades, and so it is a distinct honour to be named a finalist and winner for Western Living’s annual Designers of the Year awards.
Excerpt from Western Living’s article by Editor Anicka Quin:
It’s work that had judge Juli Hodgson of Hodgson Design Associates exclaiming, “So damn cool. This portfolio of work gets a standing ovation—it definitely stands out and presents a whole new design direction than what we have seen for the past decade.”
PlaidFox Studio was founded by two brothers, Ben and Dave Leavitt in 2014, on the premise that architecture and design are the greatest forms of functional art and self-expression. The team has grown so much over these past few years and we could not be more grateful for this incredible honour. This is a moment that is eight years in the making for us, and one we will cherish for years to come.
